Congratulatons, your wife must be very understanding. It is my belief that it is harder for them to live with us than the other way. Point in case is something a good friend just sent me. He is a math P.H.D.... it just proves that it is genetic.

I was watching 48hrs. last night and would like to say its such a privilege to know there are still folks out there who care more about our LAND and their way of living then MONEY. MONEY can buy you anything, but MONEY can't make you happy. I would be honored to live in a community like yours!!!

I really don't know what the individual winners did ... other than they were mostly farmers and they invested in thier farms. I run the web site ... but it is just a site where alumni post pictures and swap stories. I live in Dallas and only go home a couple of times a year. Lance Green is still the mayor and he is a good guy. The Terry boy is still at the bank ... "Big Mike" (who I grew up with) is farming and most of the others are doing what they have always done. It was a great place to grow up and is still the home of some excellent people.

Hey, Yogi, How are things in the "Big City" of Rockwall? My older, brother, Freeman, was asking about you not long ago. Freeman graduated with the class of '65. In those days, he went by John. I told him that you lived close by in Rockwall and he said he would like to talk with you sometime and talk over some of the old, old, old, old, times( Emphasis on old!! You know I was literally just a baby in diapers in '65). Take care and God Bless. ---Nerissa Hardwick, Class of '82.

Many of you are being sent an email by a friend that says they have been victimized by an e-mail virus...one that automatically sends itself to everyone on their address list. I have received it from 4. This is a hoax. The virus name is jdbgmgr.exe . If you look you will find it on your computer, however it is a necessary Windows operating file, everyone has it. There can be a virus that works like this, but this is not it.

Some have asked about the new picture on the home page. It is of course the "double mountains". I was dove hunting at the deer lease about 25 miles north of Rotan when I noticed the moon coming up and a small thunder storm brewing. The combination has a nice feel to it and for some reason it reminds me of home. When we were young we hunted so much or "farmed" so much that the country around Roby is part of the place. Happy 2002

It was with great sadness that I read your article about the water tower in Roby. It troubled me deeply that you might associate the class of 64 with such a dasturdly deed as mentioned. I know those guys you mentioned and I can personally vouch for their character if not their whereabouts on the night in question.(Surely they would'nt have done that in broad daylight)
